Slogan Writing and Essay Writing Competitions for the General Public: These competitions are open to all members of the community. Participants can submit thought-provoking slogans and insightful essays focused on mental health and suicide prevention. The theme for this year’s Alzheimer’s day is “Know Dementia, Know Alzhiemer’s”. 3. Street Play by Social Work Students: Social work students will perform an engaging street play designed to address mental health issues in an accessible and interactive format. The theme for World mental health day is, “It is time to prioritize mental health in the workplace”. 4. Short Video and E-Poster Making Competitions for PUC and Degree Students: Students from Pre-University College (PUC) and degree programs are invited to create short videos and e-posters that highlight key messages about mental health and suicide prevention. The theme for world suicide prevention day is “Changing the narrative on suicide” & the theme for World mental health day is “It is time to prioritize mental health in the workplace”. These creations will be shared on social media platforms to reach a wider audience. 5. Series of Awareness Programs: A series of educational programs will be conducted for students, industry workers, and teachers. These sessions will focus on mental health-related issues, providing valuable information and resources to promote mental well-being in diverse environments. 6. Half-Day Workshop for Social Work Students: Concluding the series of events on October 10th, Dr. Thungas Manaswini Hospital will host a half-day workshop specifically for social work students.
