We successfully organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Program in collaboration with Mangaluru City Police and St. Joseph Engeeniring College Vamanjoor.
Ms. Vijayakranti, ACP, Mangaluru City Police, highlighted the importance of leading a drug-free life and staying alert against the growing threat of cybercrime.
Mr. Arun Kumar expressed concern over the alarming rise of more than 2,000 varieties of drugs being misused by youth and urged students to remain vigilant and report peddlers.
Mr. Maruthi P delivered an insightful presentation on “Drug Abuse and the Way Forward”, covering synthetic drugs, the NDPS Act, and its stringent penalties.
Dr. Sarvesh Kumar addressed the students, highlighting the harmful effects of drugs on both mental and physical health. He emphasized the growing concern that students today are increasingly exposed to drugs and other addictive substances.
